The new division will allow InPhonic’s carrier and enterprise partners to use InPhonic’s wireless capabilities and solutions to create closed private wireless networks that extend enterprise data and e-business solutions to mobile devicea.
Some of the features included in the wireless networks created by InPhonic for its partners include private-labeled wireless services portal, personal and enterprise data access, device-neutral communication (phone/PDA/pager), broadcast and narrowcast messaging, mobile-commerce platform, content optimization and delivery, and voice portal services. In addition, InPhonic’s professional services group provides mobile commerce consulting services to assist partners in developing and implementing their mobile strategies.
