Internet Media Acquires Southwest ISP

Internet Media Corp. announced today that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire a Santa Fe, N.M. Internet Service Provider (ISP) for a combination of cash and stock.

It is the company’s second acquisition in Santa Fe, and its third ISP acquisition in 30 days.

“This second Santa Fe acquisition significantly increases our Santa Fe presence and puts us in a great position with respect to expansion into Los Alamos, Espanola and Las Vegas (NM) also,” said David Loflin, president of Internet Media Corp.

The firm provides wireless modem service to it clients, and Loflin noted that there is no ISDN service to individuals anywhere in New Mexico, which will make its wireless Internet service even more attractive.

“Our company can fill the ISDN void by providing ISDN (or faster) equivalent speed through its Wireless Internet System. Internet Media is ready to meet the demand for ISDN-equivalent speed in the Santa Fe area immediately and in other New Mexico cities in a step-by-step fashion as we continue our expansion in plans over the next few years,” he stated.
