Juno Online Services Inc. Thursday inked a deal with Talk City Marketing Group, under which the provider of online marketing services will offer its interactive chat services on Juno.

The chat service will be free and featured on JunoLand, the community section of Juno’s portal site.

“Our goal is to create a rewarding online experience for our subscribers, and Talk City Marketing Group’s services provide a broad array of tools to do just that,” said Leelilia Strogov, Juno’s senior vice president for business development.

“Talk City Marketing Group is customizing its OEM services to integrate seamlessly with our offerings. We believe their professional, moderated chat environment can deliver significant value to our users while our users can present advertisers with an engaged, loyal audience.”

Talk City’s network of community services currently provides outsourcing services to more than 65 sites and aggregates more than five million unique visitors a month. The deal with Juno, the third-largest ISP in the U.S., will increase its exposure. Juno claims 12.8 million total registered subscriber accounts and had 3.7 million active subscribers in September 2000.
