Monster, Deloitte Sign Recruiting Deal

Monster.com has inked a deal to provide online recruiting tools to professional services giant Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

The pact covers job postings, country specific company profiles, access to Monster’s resume database, and a variety of banner and sponsorship opportunities.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

“To fulfill our human resource needs, we must reach the technology literate global talent pool and make it easy for them to apply,” said Kent Kirch, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu recruiting director. “Monster’s global job search and
online application technology helps us achieve that objective.”

Monster is based in Maynard, Mass., and is the flagship brand of TMP Worldwide, of New
York. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has offices worldwide, including in Boston and Waltham, Mass.

Today’s deal is the latest in a spate of news for the company following its
unsuccessful bid for rival HotJobs

“With Monster currently in 21 countries, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu will benefit from our cutting-edge technologies and innovative services on a global scale,” said
Steve Pogorzelski, president of Monster.com, North America.

Shares of TMPW were off 0.51, or 1 percent, to 45.26 in morning trading. In the last 52 weeks, the issue has ranged from 25.21 to 68.734.
