Network-1 Names Chief

Network-1 Security Solutions Inc., a Waltham, Mass., maker of intrusion prevention software,
has named Richard J. Kosinski, a Netegrity co-founder, as president and CEO.

Murray P. Fish, who had served as the company’s interim president, will continue to serve as Network-1’s CFO, a position he has held since 1998.

Kosinski joins Network-1 with more than 24 years experience in the high technology industry. Most recently, he was president of nCipher, a maker of Internet
security products. Previously, he co-founded Netegrity.

He also worked at Security-7 and BBN, Digital Products and Hewlett-Packard. Kosinski holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree in
computer science from Boston University.

Shares of NSSI were off 0.05, or 3 percent, to 1.6 on Tuesday. In the last 52 weeks, the issue has ranged from 0.44 to 2.42.
