PSINet-Canada Forms Limited Partnership With iPass

iPass announced Monday
that PSINet Ltd., a wholly-owned
Canadian subsidiary of PSINet Inc. has
agreed to offer businesses in Canada global roaming services with iPass.

PSINet’s InterRamp business customers will gain expanded access to the
Internet in more than 150 countries through iPass “Access Anywhere” service.

“Expanding the reach of our customers’ global connectivity in remote parts
of the world was an absolute requirement for us to maintain reliable,
secure, affordable and easy-to-use services for our customers,” said Bryan
Boyd, vice president of sales and marketing for PSINet Limited.

“The iPass
solution meets our anticipated needs for growth within the next year and we
are impressed with their commitment to having a first-class service well
into the future.”

Bob Schoettle, vice-president of marketing for iPass, said the company is
“very pleased the iPass ‘Access Anywhere’ service has been selected by
PSINet in Canada to expand access to its network internationally.”

Schoettle added “iPass is focused on partnering with the leading North
American ISPs to bring strong service offerings to business customers. As
businesses are relying more heavily on the Internet for access to e-mail
and for the outsourcing of remote access to corporate networks, the iPass
service is a key solution for keeping remote users connected to mission
critical information.”

The iPass Internet Roaming service is immediately available to InterRamp
customers. After access has been enabled, InterRamp customers need to
download the iPass connection software to interface with local access
numbers when traveling.

In order to provide global Internet access solutions, iPass partners with
leading telecom operators and ISPs around the globe to provide multiple
access points to travelers worldwide.
