RipTech, OneSecure Collaborate

Jul 16, 2001

Network security management firm OneSecure, Inc., and Riptech, Inc., a provider of managed security services, are collaborating to transition OneSecure’s managed security services customer base to Riptech. In addition, Riptech will evaluate OneSecure’s technology for use in the development of future services.

“Our collaboration will enable OneSecure to focus on its core competency — developing and delivering security products and technology,” said Don Detampel, chief executive officer of the Denver-based OneSecure. “We are pleased to work with Riptech, a leader in the managed security market, to provide managed security services to our customers and to have them evaluate our advanced security management software.”

By correlating and analyzing vast amounts of security data through its proprietary Caltarian technology platform, the Alexandria, Va.-based Riptech provides management, monitoring, analysis, and response against suspicious activities detected across firewalls, virtual private networks (VPN) and intrusion detection systems (IDS).

OneSecure is a network security technology vendor that provides security and VPN policy management software, next-generation intrusion detection technologies and log analysis products.
