Moving aggressively to foster expansion, RMI.NET Inc. Monday made its fifth
acquisition of an Internet-based company in the past two weeks.

The company, formerly known as Rocky Mountain Internet, purchased the
assets of CyberDesic Communications,
Inc.
for $570,000 in common stock.

This is RMI’s second acquisition in the central Illinois area. RMI
earlier had acquired Dave’s World, a full service Internet
communications provider based in Bloomington, Ill.

Earlier this year, RMI announced plans to press out of the Rocky Mountains
and expand their Internet access offerings throughout the U.S.

Douglas H. Hanson, RMI chairman and chief executive officer said the recent
acquisitions are all a part of the master plan for expansion.

“The addition of these assets is in keeping with our geographic expansion
plans and our strategic efforts to expand RMI.Net’s national presence.”

RMI recently acquired Salt Lake City-based ISP Internet Connect, IdealDial in Denver, Colorado Mountain Net in Steamboat Springs
and CommerceGate, a Seattle-based e-commerce development firm.
