NetLedger Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based Web-native ASP that produces the Oracle Small Business Suite, and communications giant Sprint today announced a partnership in which Sprint will offer small business application services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) customers of FastConnect DSL.
According to the companies, Sprint will refer the Oracle Small Business Suite to both existing Sprint FastConnect DSL customers and new subscribers. Sprint customers and prospects will receive a significant discount on Oracle Small Business Suite when purchasing it with Sprint FastConnect DSL through NetLedger, according to the companies.
Customers will save 20 percent on the cost of Oracle Small Business Suite when they purchase it along with Sprint’s DSL service and 10 percent if they are already DSL customers, according to a NetLedger spokesperson.
“Our relationship has a great deal of synergy. Small businesses that are ready for a high speed connection like Sprint FastConnect DSL have consistently shown that they are ready to adopt our product,” said Jodi Maxson, vice president of business development for NetLedger.
Under teams of the agreement, NetLedger and Spring will offer a variety of sales and marketing campaigns including direct mail, Web presence and hi-tech small business seminars.
Oracle Small Business Suite is designed to provide small businesses with a turnkey package that offers accounting and payroll, customer relationship management (CRM), order processing, inventory management, time and billing, Web site and Web store creation, and other services.
Sprint said that it provides FastConnect DSL service in approximately 400 communities in 48 major markets.
NetLedger is listed by ASPnews a Top 20 Service Provider.
