Enterprise application outsourcer Surebridge Inc. Thursday named several vice presidents in a corporate reorganization to support continued growth and focus on its On Demand services and customer care.
“Surebridge has doubled its size in the last eight months through organic growth and acquisition, and we have an aggressive strategy in place to maintain our industry leadership in the mid-market,” said President and COO Joe Nicholson. “This reorganization enables us to effectively align our delivery and services organization with Surebridge’s strategic initiatives and customer needs.”
Surebridge announced the promotions of George Valentine to senior vice president, Enterprise Group; Mark Clayman to vice president and chief information officer; and Mike Gately to vice president of business development.
As senior vice president, Valentine will head Surebridge’s Enterprise Group, which comprises On Demand and Professional Services for its customer relationship, supply chain, human capital, and financial solutions. Valentine was formerly director of Surebridge’s PeopleSoft practice for the southeast. Previously, he served as CEO of Transchannel, an application outsourcer of PeopleSoft solutions that Surebridge acquired in October 2002.
As vice president and CIO, Clayman heads the Hosting and Technology group. He is responsible for Surebridge’s continuous drive for technical and operational excellence, and his group will develop the next evolution in Surebridge’s On Demand solutions. Clayman has been with Surebridge for more than four years and was formerly director of hosting operations for the company.
In his new role of vice president of business development, Mike Gately is responsible for Surebridge’s Client Partner team and strategic alliances. Surebridge Client Partners, or CIOs-on-call, are consultants with specific vertical or business process expertise who manage customer relationships from the inception of the sale through the day-to-day management of the account. Gately is charged with driving business in both new and existing customer accounts and delivering packaged solutions around Surebridge’s vertical and horizontal offerings. Gately, formerly director of Surebridge’s PeopleSoft practice for the northeast, has been with Surebridge for more than five years.
In addition, the general managers for Surebridge’s regional sales areas have been promoted to reinforce Surebridge’s presence in its strategic markets. Mark Cravotta is regional vice president for the Southeast/West regions; Jeff Hiscox is regional vice president for Surebridge’s Microsoft Business Solutions practice; and Bill Jones is regional vice president for the Northeast/Central regions.
“These changes increase our agility and flexibility to respond to current market dynamics. All of these individuals are experienced leaders and talented professionals who have each made significant contributions to Surebridge. I am confident in their abilities to execute our plans in the areas of On Demand sales and delivery, gaining new sales from current customers, channel program acceleration, service offering expansion and vertical marketing,” Nicholson said.
