“The name is silicon, blue-silicon.”

How’d you like to hear the smooth, suave voice of James Bond every time you check your voicemail?

Roger Moore, former James Bond actor Wednesday signed an agreement with San Jose-based blue-silicon for its Extended Enterprise Messaging system.

Moore, will be the voice that guides blue-silicon business users through their messages when they phone into the system. Moore recorded the pre-recorded messages late last year in England. The new voice-over was released in the United States this month.

“Our goal was to select a voice that would be internationally recognized and easily understood, no matter where users are from,” says blue-silicon VP of marketing Samuel Williams.

blue-silicon’s mid-sourced ASP solution includes voicemail, fax, e-mail, and wireless messaging.
