The TriZetto. Group, Inc. today announced the introduction of Erisco’s Facets System using TriZetto’s HealthWeb Internet application.
The system was completed in a six-week period, allowing the integrated HealthWeb product to be immediately available to all Facets customers.
“An Internet-enabled solution of this caliber can take several months to implement, yet the collaborative effort between TriZetto and Erisco has yielded results for Erisco’s customers in a six-week timeframe,” Gail Knopf, senior vice president of e-business/HealthWeb, TriZetto, said.
“This is a best-of-class managed care solution that demonstrates Facets’ flexibility and the powerful architecture of HealthWeb’s Internet application,” she continued.
Jim Donnelly, assistant vice president of product strategy, Erisco Manager Care Technologies attributes the remarkable speed-to-market directly to the joint technical team of TriZetto and Erisco staff.
“The team worked at a feverish pace to seamlessly integrate Facets and the HealthWeb Internet application,” he said “The flexibility of Facets, combined with the HealthWeb architecture and underlying technology, brings tangible benefits to customers seeking immediate entrie to the e-health arena.”
Now Erisco’s health-plan clients will be able to use the Internet as a vehicle to communicate and conduct e-business with their customers, ranging from physicians, members, employer groups and brokers, in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
The integration between Facets and HealthWeb will allow also physicians to perform online member eligibility inquiry as well as check the status of claims, view benefit plan information and review medical history, among other issues.
