NEW YORK. In a session on compliance at Interop i just heard something that really resonated with me – CEOs should be more like hackers (in terms of security awareness).
In a session on security compliance software
Jim
Routh, Chief Information Security Officer, Depository Trust Clearing
Corporation noted that CEO’s and hackers have a lot in common because they both should ask the
same questions.
1) What are the most important assets in a company.
2) Where are those assets?
3) What are the value of those assets?
4) Where are the vulnerabilities in the system to get at those assets?
Makes good sense to me…
