IBM Corp. Monday
announced it will use Blue Sky Software
Corp.’s
RoboHELP HTML Edition 7.0 to transfer paper documents to its
corporate intranet.

Version 7.0 of RoboHELP HTML is designed to leverage existing Word
documents, HTML pages, WinHelp files, graphics and multimedia, applying
them to intranet information systems. The program also features project
management and adds search and navigation features to electronic documents.

IBM’s strategy is to use RoboHELP HTML to transfer paper manuals and
Microsoft Word documents to its intranet system. The company said it is
looking to improve employee productivity and customer service, as well as
save money with the electronic system.

RoboHELP is currently available for $499 and features a bonus package of
software and services valued at $737, at no additional cost. The promotion
will last until December 31.
