Tuesday launched two new HR intranet products in an effort to provide a
communication channel
that is “user-friendly, dynamic and gives significant reductions
in administrative overhead.”
PWA Employee Self-Service allows individuals to access
data held about themselves within a database, and can search for (non-sensitive) data about other people in the organization, 24 hours a day world-wide.
Employees are also able to update certain personal data, book holidays and
register an interest in job opportunities or attending training courses.
PWA Management Self-Service works along similar lines, said the firm,
providing line
managers with additional facilities such as specialist departmental
reporting, salary modeling and management information.
