It’s a G’Day for eRoom

eRoom Technology, a Cambridge, Mass., maker of online software to help businesses and organizations collaborate with employees, customers and other partners, has opened an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Sydney, Australia.

The Sydney office will serve eRoom customers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The company, which has more than 200 employees, also has offices in Canada
and the United Kingdom, as well as across the United States.

CEO Jeffrey Beir said, “Successful businesses around the world are focused on eliminating the organizational, geographic and time zone barriers associated with
supporting global project teams. By opening an office for Asia-Pacific, we are able to provide local support for the collaborative infrastructure these organizations
need.”

Giora Friede, managing director of eRoom Technology Asia-Pacific, said, “Within the Asia-Pacific region, the adoption of digital workplace solutions is primarily
being driven by outsourcing trends. eRoom Technology’s ability to rapidly assemble and support the ad hoc project teams that result from these relationships is
driving local demand for our products and services.”

David Perks, regional practice leader for eRoom customer EDS Bluesphere, said, “The infrastructure EDS and its clients use to support cross-enterprise
collaborative activities in today’s digital economy is key to assuring service excellence. By opening an office in Sydney, eRoom Technology isenabling us to further
enhance the quality of our services within this critical market.”

eRoom has attracted $51 million in venture funding and in October filed for an IPO, for which it has yet to set a date.
