Network firm Intelispan Inc. Thursday announced a deal to provide PSI
Technologies
with virtual private network services.

Intelispan’s VPN solution, exSPANd, will deliver e-mail, intranet, extranet and remote access via a secure VPN. It uses a private IP network and can be used to create supply chain management, process automation and remote access, as well as manage networked collaborative communities.

PSI, a division of Policy Studies Inc., provides technical consulting, training and research to governmental organizations.

“We selected Intelispan for its superior security architecture, technical
expertise, flexibility and responsiveness to our needs,” said Nancy Starling Ross, PSI’s vice president.

“The simple, usage based structure allows for PSI to grow elegantly into a
larger network footprint on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis. It makes it easier for
budgeting purposes and gives us at PSI the ‘just in time’ bandwidth we need as we grow.”
