ProSci Research Wednesday released its KnowledgeDisk tool, a Web application for file sharing.

KnowledgeDisk is designed to provide a secure way for businesses to organize, store and share files and documents over the Internet or via corporate intranets. Users can access the data via passwords for different levels of access, and an e-mail is automatically sent out to team members/users notifying them when documents are added or updated.

“Businesses currently rely on e-mail to send documents to various groups within their organizations,” said Jeff Hiatt, president of ProSci Research. “However, many people are tired of the hassle and inefficiency associated with lost, misdirected or non-functioning e-mail attachments. KnowledgeDisk is a simple, easy-to-use solution for an expanding and information-hungry work force.”
