Software announced the availability of ShopZone Web Edition, a
browser-based e-commerce solution that includes a desktop upgrade option.
Aimed at ISPs, telcos, and portals that want to
host online malls, it is designed for users to import their online stores
in the desktop version
for greater functionality and advanced customization–then publish them via
the same ISP or host.
“Time is money, so we made ShopZone Web Edition as easy as possible for a
host to
setup and configure, and for a merchant to get started building their
professional e-commerce site,” said Trevor Stout, Breakthrough Software’s
co-founder and CEO.
“And because ShopZone Web Edition is the
only browser-based e-commerce solution with a desktop upgrade path for
advanced development, customers using our product save time in the long run
because they won’t have to start over from scratch.”
ShopZone Web Edition provides a store setup wizard to guide users through
the online store creation process. Advanced features include customizable site
style sheets, advanced page editing, discussion groups, online forms, site
statistics, and product specials. There are full site administration
capabilities
for the merchant, plus facilities for online payments, taxes, and shipping
rates.
The vendor said it can provide ShopZone Web Edition immediately to ISPs
and other large hosting services.
