Ahead of next month’s unveiling of the top 10 CEO Vision Award winners, InternetNews.com is announcing a three-member advisory panel to help narrow down the final selection. Reader entries and input from Internet.com editors will also inform the selection process.

Tim Bajarin, president of Creative Strategies, social media expert Paul Gillin and IT analyst Charles King will make up the advisory panel.
Bajarin, the oft-quoted, veteran Silicon Valley analyst, has consulted for most of the leading hardware and software vendors, and is a frequent contributor to both mainstream and IT-related publications as well as the major TV networks. His various columns and analyses are syndicated in more than 30 countries. Known for his insight into future trends, Bajarin is considered one the leading experts in the field of technology-adoption cycles. He’s also authored major industry studies on PCs, portable computing, pen-based computing, desktop publishing, multimedia computing and the digital home.
Gillin has a wide area of IT expertise amassed over his many years covering the IT industry. He is a former editor-in-chief of Computerworld and founding editor of TechTarget. In recent years, he has become an accomplished writer, speaker and business advisor, specializing in the strategic use of social media. Since 2005, Gillin has written four books and published more than 100 articles about the changes in markets and society brought on by the democratization of media.
King is president and principal analyst of Pund-IT, an analyst shop that focuses on the evolution of business technology and interpreting the effects these changes will have on his tier one vendor clientele, their customers and the greater IT marketplace. After several years working on strategic writing projects for various tech companies, King founded Pund-IT in December 2004. He publishes regular commentaries in his Pund-IT Weekly Review newsletter and is quoted regularly in a wide variety of business and mainstream media.
