Fujitsu Ltd. said Thursday it has put
the finishing touches on a Japanese version of Infosort, a proprietary
indexing and categorization tool created by the Dialog Corp.

The tool has been incorporated into the Virtual Private Office intranet
service and will be released this December. Fujitsu hopes it will be
snatched up by more than 500 companies in the next three years.

The service applies Japanese Infosort terms to Japanese language newspapers
such as Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun and Mainichi Shimbun, as well as various other
papers.

VPO is an intranet out-sourcing service that enables information sharing
among companies via the Net. It is a user-friendly management tool
providing the customer with a customized office for Net clients.
