HP has been pushing the idea of convergence for the past several years across various parts of its business. Today, HP is pushing convergence into the realm of servers and applications with new Converged Systems offerings.

The new Converged Systems portfolio includes integrated hardware and software bundles called AppSystems that are intended to enable faster ramp-up and deployment as well as improved performance.
