What’s next from Apple? Perhaps no other tech company garners as much attention for both its product rollouts and rumors and speculation leading up to those rollouts.
One of Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) more highly anticipated rollouts came Wednesday at company headquarters. Hardware Central has the details on the two new MacBook Air notebooks from Apple that feature extended battery life, a whopping 30-days of standby mode and a starting price of $999. Apple also previewed the next version of the Mac operating system and an App Store for Mac applications modeled on the hugely successful iPhone App Store.

But then, just as the agenda seemed to be winding down, Jobs uttered his famous “one more thing” line and unveiled two new MacBook Air systems starting at $999 for an 11.6-inch display model with 64GB of solid-state storage and $1,299 for a 13.3-inch display model with 128GB. The sleek new notebooks are also only 0.8 inch thick at the thickest point.
