Microsoft Site Teases Windows 8 Details

What’s next from Microsoft? Bloggers, reporters and other interested parties, are constantly trolling for the latest news and inside information about what the software giant plans to do next.

The latest example is an apparent unauthorized leak by a Dutch news site owned by Microsoft about the next release of Windows. As detailed in Datamation’s report, parts of the original blog about the forthcoming Windows 8 release were pulled.



Microsoft officials declined to comment on a post to the company

s Dutch news site over the weekend that

Windows 8

the release to follow Windows 7

will ship in approximately two years.


The statement remained online only briefly before it was pulled, but not before several sites, including Windows enthusiast site Winrumors.com, downloaded it (in Dutch).
