ConsumerREVIEW.com, a source of
consumer-generated product reviews, signed an agreement with Yahoo! Inc. to
provide product reviews to the Yahoo! Shopping e-commerce operation.
The agreement gives consumers access to product reviews of golf and outdoor
equipment. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
Yahoo! Shopping visitors will be able to read abstracts that feature quotes
and ratings
from ConsumerREVIEW.com’s enthusiast community members.
Yahoo! Shopping offers more than 15 retail categories from over 9,000
merchants.
ConsumerREVIEW.com developed and manages 17 Web communities around common
product interests to meet the needs of consumers researching purchases on the
Web. Other categories include autos, electronics, and computer hardware and
computer games.
