Generation Y e-commerce site Alloy Online Inc. signed an advertising and
promotion agreement with Excite@Home.
Alloy ads will appear on teen areas on the Excite and Webcrawler.com sites, including Teen
Chat, Movies and Music areas within the Entertainment channels, as well as on
the Excite and Webcrawler shopping channels. Financial arrangements were not
disclosed.
In turn, Alloy will provide Excite@Home with advertising and promotion on its
site, in the Alloy catalog and in Alloy E-Zine, the company’s twice-weekly
electronic magazine. In addition, Alloy Online will be a preferred teen
content provider for the clothes department of the Excite.com Shopping
channel.
Alloy Online is a direct marketer providing community, content and commerce
to Generation Y. Boys and girls can interact, share information, explore
relevant content and shop for apparel, accessories, footwear, music,
cosmetics, and magazine subscriptions.
