Better late to the party than not at all, BBDO Worldwide will launch an interactive
marketing division to be called @tmosphere Interactive, which will report to
BBDO New York, according to published reports.

The new interactive unit will also serve other BBDO agencies in the United
States, Advertising Age said.
Susan Pinkwater, a senior consultant at Omnicom’s Communicade group of
interactive shops, will be president and CEO of @tmosphere.

Mike Campbell, a senior vice president and senior creative director with BBDO New York and a
member of the New York Board of Directors, will be the new unit’s managing
director, according to Adweek.

@tmosphere Interactive reportedly already has been named interactive
agency-of-record for both Visa and General Electric and has been awarded
interactive assignments
for Frito-Lay, M&M’s/Mars and Pepsi One.

Projected annual billings are $25 million, and it has a staff of 25
employees, Adweek said.

The Web site is apparently not up yet.
