Click-Through Ad Network Signs Three Newspaper Chains
Click-Through said it signed three
newspaper chains, Freedom Communications, Media News Group Inc. and Media
General Inc.

The deal will add 38 major metropolitan dailies and online media sites to
Click-Through’s network of online newspapers.

According to the company, it now represents more than 80 site affiliates
and delivers over 50 million page views per month. It is now the largest
network for online newspaper advertising sales, said Greg DeMaagd,
Click-Through’s founder.

“Click-Through is focused exclusively on online newspaper advertising sales.
No original content, no large overhead, simply one call, one invoice access
to the top local newspaper sites in the nation,” said DeMaagd.

Advertisers include Microsoft, NYNEX, Pacific Bell, American
Express, Cox Interactive, CarSmart and ICat Software.

The company plans on further expansion. “We are stepping up marketing
efforts and working hard to complete partnerships with other top media
partners,” added DeMaagd.

Working strictly on a commission basis, Click-Through features one insertion
order for a single site or multiple site buy and one invoice.

Click-Through was founded in September 1996 by DeMaagd, who formerly
launched sales and marketing for the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner
site.
