Ad network Flycast Communications Tuesday struck a deal with Etronica Corp., a multimedia
reference publisher, to add content to Flycast’s e-commerce service, Flycast Valet.

Flycast, through a partnership with Infospace, launched the Valet service
back in November, as a means to help its client sites generate e-commerce
revenue. So far, 567 of Flycast’s 1775 sites are participating.

The new deal with Etronica gives Flycast more content to integrate into the
Valet offering, including a multimedia encyclopedia, historical timelines,
and queries to leading search engines with integration of graphical
materials, portraits and maps.

Flycast is one of CMGI’s advertising-related companies. The holding company
and venture firm agreed to acquire Flycast back in September. The deal is
expected to close in January, if all stockholders agree.
