The Dayton Tire division of Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., using InterVU’s V-Banner video advertising banner,
is speeding onto the Internet for its March 15 debut in Indy Lights auto
racing.

The V-Banners are being used to drive traffic from the combined
Bridgestone/Firestone/Dayton Consumer Tires Web site to the Dayton Racing section.

Once viewers click through to the Dayton Racing pages, they will see the
upcoming TV commercial introducing Dayton Daytona tires as the official tire
of the 1998 PPG Dayton Indy Lights Championship. Spending was not disclosed.

“We are very pleased to see a major advertiser such as Bridgestone/Firestone
pioneer a new use for our V-Banner,” said Allie Shaw, San Diego-based
InterVU’s director of marketing.

“The V-Banner is an effective tool in increasing customer
recognition, national branding and direct response. Using it to drive
internal site traffic in addition to external traffic is a natural
application.”

The InterVU V-Banner integrates video clips into traditional ad banners and
delivers them through the InterVU Network.

Nashville, TN-based Bridgestone/Firestone is the largest subsidiary of
Bridgestone Corp., the world’s largest tire and rubber company.
