Hill and Knowlton in New York City
said it will partner with UbiComs, a new media marketing and
communications agency, to form H&K UbiComs.
The H&K-UbiComs partnership is enhanced by the recent merger between UbiComs
and San Francisco-based Red Dot Interactive, a provider of
nationwide interactive services, H&K said. H&K UbiComs will have headquarters
in San Francisco, and will work through Hill and Knowlton’s 12 U.S. offices.
H&K UbiComs will provide clients with a full range of integrated online
marketing communications services, including Web site development and
management, intranet development and maintenance, monitoring, research,
measurement, and evaluation.
Jeff Raleigh, Hill and Knowlton’s director of client services, will be
responsible for managing the H&K UbiComs relationship. Anita Bloch, Red Dot’s
founder, will be the director in charge of UbiComs on a day-to-day basis in
the United States.
“UbiComs provides a perfect complement to the range of communications services we offer to our clients, as well as a driving force for consolidating our new media activities,” said Tom Hoog, president of Hill and Knowlton.
Outside the United States, UbiComs has been working as Hill and Knowlton’s
exclusive new media partner since 1995, principally through its European
sister company, NetComs Europe.
