Hunt Marketing Group Launches Online Newsletter

Hunt Marketing Group, a Seattle-based
direct marketing firm, has launched The Direct Line, a free online newsletter
for marketers that gives information and advice about advertising and direct
marketing on the Web.


The newsletter will be published every 6 to 8 weeks.


Each issue carries a feature on a new tactic in interactive media, a short
interview with a Web professional, quick and interesting facts about the Web
and a “Technology Spotlight” where the reader can demo new online technology.


The first issue featured an article on “Secrets to successful e-commerce
marketing,” which offers tips about building a profitable business by selling
products and services on the Internet. The second issue discussed e-mail
marketing.


To subscribe to The Direct Line, click here. and select “Subscribe.” HMG will send subscribers an e-mail reminder when the next edition is
available on its Web site. Subscribers also will have access privileges to
past issues and articles in a special archives section.


“The Direct Line is an educational tool designed to give marketing
professionals `actionable’ information about what works–and what doesn’t–in direct response Web advertising,” said Bruno Gralpois, HMG’s director of
database and new media strategies and The Direct Line editor. “The content is
geared to marketers who want to create communications that generate responses
and drive sales.”


An e-mail marketing campaign promoting The Direct Line generated a response
rate that exceeded 18 percent in less than two weeks, the company said.


Hunt Marketing Group offers strategic planning, database marketing services,
creative development and production management of direct marketing campaigns.
It also offers integrated electronic marketing solutions using the Internet
and other emerging technologies.
