In an effort to address the globality of Internet advertising, the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) will hold its inaugural European Leadership Dinner and Conference on June 1, in Amsterdam the Netherlands, in
conjunction with @d:tech Europe which will take place June 2-4.

The meeting will bring together members
from seven IAB countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Holland,
Italy, Switzerland and the United
Kingdom as well as the United States.

“The future dynamic growth of online advertising is global in nature. While individual countries have
issues which are particular to their markets, there is an overwhelming
commonality to online media which
crosses all borders,” noted IAB (US) chairman Rich LeFurgy. “This first
international meeting of the IAB
will help us all to better understand the differences of our markets and
the similarities, and will enable us
to work more closely together as we continue to build and evolve online
media.”

Further information, cost of the conference and online registration for the
June 1, meeting can be found on
the IAB Web site.
