Online insurance marketplace InsWeb launched a national sweepstakes
program as part of its two-year, $75-million consumer marketing campaign.

Consumers who complete a no-cost, no-obligation auto insurance quote form at
InsWeb InsWeb by March 31, 2000, are eligible to win a Mercedes ML320 sport
utility vehicle.

“We want to demonstrate to new consumers just how easy it is to comparison
shop for insurance at InsWeb’s online marketplace,” said InsWeb Senior Vice
President Marc Barach.

“The chance to win a new Mercedes, coupled with the
value proposition we already offer, is expected to draw more customers and
accelerate traffic at InsWeb for our 22 participating auto insurers.”

The six-month sweepstakes is scheduled to be promoted online at Yahoo! and
other sites, as well as a select group of off-line publications, including
Time Digital, Family PC, Yahoo! Internet Life, and Maximum PC.

InsWeb’s integrated campaign plans also call for network television
advertising on primetime programs such as “Monday Night Football,” “ER,”
“Dateline” and “20/20.”
