Publisher Diane Atwood said that First USA, one of the nation’s largest
credit-card issuers, will sponsor the Internet-only, weekly magazine’s
business section, “Money, Markets and Management.”
The six-month agreement allows First USA to receive a custom-designed sponsor
information page within the “Money, Markets and Management” section of IC. In
addition, First USA is free to use any content of IC on its own intranet or
Web sites. Spending was not disclosed.
IntellectualCapital.com also said it entered a partnership with America Online to serve as an anchor tenant,
providing public policy content for AOL’s Newsstand and NewsTalk pages.
First USA will occupy prominent placement on IC’s home page on AOL, as well as
placement of a First USA linked logo ad on the home page of IC’s Web site.
