Intellipost Hires Senior VP for Sales

San Francisco-based Intellipost
Corp.
named Charlie Berman
as its new senior vice president of sales.


Berman will head sales efforts for the company’s incentive-based e-mail
service, BonusMail, which rewards consumers who
sign up to receive, read, and respond to targeted, HTML-enhanced e- mail from
direct marketers. Rewards points may be redeemed for frequent flier miles and
merchandise certificates from more than two dozen popular name brands.


Berman has spent the last 10 years building and managing large direct
marketing sales forces. As executive vice president of marketing and sales at
Willitts Designs, a merchandise company, Berman grew revenue to more than $30
million from $1.5 million before the company was acquired by Hallmark Inc.


“Charlie strengthens our management team with an exceptional background
in building and managing large-scale sales forces,” said Steve Markowitz,
Intellipost President/CEO. “Our BonusMail direct marketing service is
growing fast, and we need someone with Charlie’s experience to manage a stable
of advertisers that already numbers more than 100.”


BonusMail serves more than 700,000 consumers.
