Generation Y site provider iTurf Inc. signed with Phase2Media as an online advertising
partner for the iTurf Network.
Under the terms of the agreement, Phase2Media will represent the iTurf
Network to marketers and advertisers looking to target Generation Y.
The iTurf Network features Web sites such as gURL.com, OnTap.com and
dELiAs.com.
Phase2Media will work with iTurf
to execute the advertising
and marketing strategies for each of the properties, including the flagship
site, iTurf.com, scheduled for launch in January 2000.
“Phase2Media will enhance our advertising revenue stream by attracting elite
brands with innovative ways to market to this demographic (10- to
24-year-olds),” said Phil Miano, iTurf’s director of advertising.
Phase2Media also was selected to rep for www.goalnetwork.com, a global soccer
Web site scheduled to launch next month by Goal Media Group Inc.
The site will offer match results, news, stories and feature coverage from
soccer journalists and an online store for soccer merchandise, online
auctions of soccer memorabilia, and a variety of community services,
including message boards, chat and free home pages and e-mail accounts.
