Maxnet Inc. in New York said it completed the purchase agreement to
acquire the assets of Intrasoft Ltd., an emerging Internet marketing company
whose primary products consist of online industry directories and business
guides at Webphonebook.Com.
The acquisition follows Maxnet’s announcement on May 29 regarding a joint
project with Fountainhead Management to launch a new search engine utilizing
next generation ‘search spider’ technology. That technology will be
incorporated into Webphonebook.Com’s directory services.
Webphonebook.Com offers businesses an exclusive presence on a Web site service
in a selected geographic area by zipcode listing. Listing price details were
not disclosed.
