Apr 29, 1999

New media content provider MediaX Corp.
Thursday announced it has tapped Adsmart to sell advertising on MediaX’s
network of entertainment and e-commerce sites.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

MediaX’s network of celebrity and
entertainment-based Web sites includes Rod Stewart Live,
DivineMusic and amuZnet, an e-commerce site that sells
CDs, DVDs and home videos.

Adsmart will begin selling ads for the Rod Stewart site, currently
reporting more than one million impressions per month. Additional sites
will be added as their traffic grows as a result of upcoming marketing and
promotional events.

“We believe that Adsmart’s philosophy and proven track record will enable
us to effectively market our Web holdings, driving traffic and e-commerce,
creating revenue opportunities,” said Nancy Poertner, President of MediaX
Corp.

“MediaX’s popular entertainment and
e-commerce Web sites are the perfect match for our network and our experienced
sales staff who are dedicated to leveraging the brand equity of these sites to
drive a high CPM,” said John
Federman, Adsmart chairman and chief executive officer.
