Parable Corp., which provides
promotional multimedia animations, said it closed a second round of financing
with CMG@Ventures, F.S.C. Corp., The Kraft Group, Venture Management and
Wasserstein Adelson Ventures.

In addition, the Newton, MA-company announced content relationships with
Parker Brothers and Hasbro Interactive, divisions of Hasbro Inc., as well
as the New England Patriots
football team and New England Revolution soccer team. Parable said it will
create multimedia “Things” that display their brand on the Web.

Examples of branded Things, such as Hasbro Interactive’s Frogger, are
available online.

Parable recently introduced the new multimedia file format Things which
allows distribution and ownership of content across the Web.
ThingMaker, Parable’s first product, permits anyone to construct rich
multimedia objects–or “Things”–with no programming or coding required.

Recently announced strategic partnerships who will adopt Parable’s
technology include GeoCities and Tripod. Among Parable’s current content
partners are the Boston Red Sox, Houghton Mifflin Interactive, Jones Soda,
Lycos, New England Sports Network, and WGBH.
