Promotions, New Hires at K2 Design

New York City-based K2 Design Inc. said that Andrea Remyn and
Jason Lucas have joined the interactive agency in the newly created positions
of director of strategic planning and senior designer, respectively.

In addition, two key members of management, Thomas Hespos and Gina Borriello,
have been named agency vice presidents.

Remyn will provide both K2 account managers and the new business team with
consultative support in business planning, strategic marketing, database
marketing and research. She joins K2 from Wunderman Cato Johnson/Young &
Rubicam.

Lucas joins the agency from Broadway Video, where he was art director. At K2,
Jason will oversee creative teams working on all agency accounts, as well as
spearhead creative efforts for new business.

Hespos becomes vice president, director of media and Borriello assumes the
role of vice president of operations. Hespos, creator and publisher of the On
Line Advertising Forum
, is an authority on interactive media
planning and buying. In her new role, Borriello will oversee administrative
and human resource functions at K2.

K2 clients include Lexis-Nexis, NCR, Sony Online Entertainment, Standard &
Poor’s, and Varsitybooks.com.
