Buyer and seller connection site Respond.com launched a multi-million dollar
national advertising campaign, kicked off with radio spots featuring comedian
Paula Poundstone and print advertisements.

With separate sets of advertisements for buyers and sellers, the advertising
campaign informs buyers that Respond.com is a new and effective way to find
products and services on the Web.

The seller ads communicate that this
service provides a simple
and affordable way to meet and sell to new customers online.

Created by Rathje Chadwick & Company, Respond.com’s
advertising agency-of-record, the radio spots feature Paula Poundstone as she
encounters the frustrations of shopping both off-line and online before she
finds Respond.com as her online shopping solution.

Respond.com allows buyers to shop for a wide range of products and services
through a simple, anonymous descriptive email. Sellers are introduced to
customers who
are ready to buy, without the need for a storefront or a Web site.
