Loyalty e-mail company Roving Software Inc. released Constant
ContactT 2.0, a packaged application aimed at driving repeat sales for
e-commerce merchants by automating personalized, targeted e-mail
communications with customers.

The product is aimed at small and medium companies.

“With the escalating costs of customer acquisition, a merchant’s success
depends on its ability to drive repeat sales and create customer loyalty,”
said Gail Goodman, CEO. “Online merchants can maximize lifetime customer
value quickly, effectively and inexpensively with Constant Contact 2.0.”

The application operates in conjunction with the businesses storefront commerce
software, capitalizing on shopper profiles, order history and product data
for targeting and personalization.

Constant Contact 2.0 is integrated with Intershop, Microsoft Site Server Commerce Edition
and, soon, Orbit Commerce’s e-commerce service
bureau platform, with others to follow.

Constant Contact is in use at over 100 sites including Send.com, Wick’s End, Nat Sherman Cigars and First Class Gifts.
