San Francisco-based Web services company SmartAge signed a strategic partnership
deal to help community operation theglobe.com launch a banner exchange
called globeClicks, powered by SmartAge Corner Office.
The new service is aimed at helping small businesses and personal publishers
to advertise their sites to other users on the Web. globeClicks, powered by
SmartAge, will be accessible from the Homepage Builder Section of
theglobe.com. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

user-friendly e-commerce tools,” said William Lohse, president and CEO of
SmartAge. “With globeClicks, every visit generates an opportunity to boost
traffic to members’ sites.”

Members of theglobe.com will have access to SmartAge’s Corner Office, where
they can monitor and manage their banner placement results.
SmartAge is an e-commerce and Web services company focused on small
businesses. It provides a suite of 15 Web marketing services that includes SmartClicks, a free banner exchange.
