Vancouver, BC-based Stock Research Group Inc. a subsidiary of I-Tech Holdings
Group Inc. that operates Stockgroup.com, signed a contract with
Yahoo! to sponsor
the search terms “small-cap,” “micro-cap” and variations.
The sponsor deal begins May 1 and continues at least through the year’s end.
Spending was not disclosed.
In addition, Stockgroup.com’s banner advertisements will appear at various
times when the Small-Cap main directory page is accessed. Although there are
59 various small-cap clubs within the general Business and Finance section of
Yahoo! Clubs, the company said it believes it will be one of the largest
single sponsors of the popular Small-Cap club area and the single-largest
advertiser in the Small-Cap main directory.
Stockgroup.com said it expects to enter into similar contracts with other
major
search engines.
Stockgroup.com was founded in 1995 and has offices in Vancouver, Calgary,
and Toronto in Canada and San Francisco. Stockgroup.com is a supplier of
financial information to small cap investors. Stockgroup.com also produces The
Small Cap Express, a free daily online investment market report that is
distributed on an “as requested” basis via e-mail.
