Synergy Brands Inc. said it retained Gordacom Consulting Inc. to assist Synergy in the marketing of its Gran Reserve Cigars, handmade in the Dominican Republic, via the Internet.

The company said it plans to restructure www.netcigar.com to further increase sales.
The site will include information regarding product history, recent product
developments, the company’s vision of the future, industry related news and
events, customer services, and corporate services. Financial arrangements were
not disclosed.

To allow for a more convenient shopping experience, the company said it will
be incorporating a shopping-cart function into its Web site.

“We intend to harness the ability of direct selling over the Internet,” said
Mair Faibish, executive vice president of Synergy Brands. “With the assistance
of Gordacom, the company will be seeking strategic alliances, on both a

sales and shareholder value.”
