Theglobe.com Names Marketing, Development Directors

New York City-based community site operation theglobe.com said that Kerri Fox has joined
the company as director of marketing and Ronald DiPrete as director of
corporate development.

Fox had been director of corporate marketing for Gruner + Jahr USA
Publishing. Prior to that, Fox worked as marketing director of Family Circle
at the New York Times Women’s Magazine Division and from 1990-1993 acted as
promotion director for Woman’s Day.

DiPrete will report to Vice President, Corporate Development Ed Cespedes and
take a lead role in helping to identify and execute strategies for
theglobe.com’s continued growth.

He practiced in the corporate department of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver &
Jacobson where he represented theglobe.com’s recent $30 million initial public
offering and the theglobe.com’s recent acquisition of e-commerce firm
Azazz.com.
From 1994-1997 he was an associate with the Boston law firm of Goodwin,
Procter & Hoar.
