From a server architecture perspective, the ConvergedSystem 100 for Hosted Desktop includes the HP Moonshot 1500 chassis with HP ProLiant m700 server cartridges. Guida said that the solution includes the Moonshot switches and uplink modules, as well as a Moonshot chassis management module.
The other two new systems are the ConvergedSystem 300 and 700 boxes, which Guida said are brand new systems from HP. The ConvergedSystem 300 for Virtualization includes three to eight HP ProLiant DL380p Gen 8 Servers as well as three to eight StoreVirtual VSA software instances.
