Cisco does not have its own Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution.

Other big IT vendors in recent years have positioned SIEM at the foundation of security. IBM has its qRadar solution, while HP has the ArcSight platform.

In a video interview with Enterprise Networking Planet, Chris Young, SVP of Security at Cisco, explains where SIEM fits and why Cisco is meeting the challenge in a different way.
