Wireless Home Net Unveiled

Start-up HighSpeed Surfing has unveiled a wireless network designed for homes that have cable Internet access.

The company unveiled four products aimed at setting up wireless networks based on the 802.11b wireless networking standard. It says its initial goal will be to have cable operators sell the network to consumers.

Initially, the network supports Windows-based computers. The company said that the products are ready to ship and that they looking for distribution partners.
